Lydia Borland brings to The Livingston Group over 21 years of public and private sector experience in international business development and government relations.
Ms. Borland has successfully created and managed campaigns to secure financial assistance and favorable legislation for U.S. and non-U.S. clients. She facilitates international business development for U.S. companies, especially in Turkey and Azerbaijan, and for non-U.S. companies in the U.S. Additionally, Ms. Borland has significant experience in trade promotion and market development, helping businesses identify and partner with international companies.
Ms. Borland served as the Washington representative of the Turkish-U.S. Business Council, an association of 100 Turkish companies which has been seeking to improve bilateral trade and industrial cooperation between Turkey and the United State for over seven years. She also served as Deputy Executive Director of the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Borland is fluent in Spanish, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Italian and French.
